Message from the President
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone for the ongoing support given to the Chiba Bank Group. In addition to changes in social structures and values, the needs of our customers and local communities, and the challenges they face, have become increasingly diverse and complex. Consequently, the environment surrounding our Bank Group has been rapidly changing. Under these circumstances, the 16th Mid-term Plan, “Engagement Bank Group – Phase 2 – ", which started in April 2026, outlines a value creation story: " continuing sustainable growth by contributing to the resolution of social issues and realizing our Purpose," aimed at realizing our operational guideline for the plan: " increasing our fan base by deepening engagement". With our Purpose as the starting point for all our endeavors, we aim to create the optimal customer experience through the continuous provision of products and services that are convenient and beneficial. Simultaneously, we position "AI" and "Regional Ecosystems" as our most critical strategies and drive the evolution of our business model. Furthermore, we consider "Human Resources," which support these efforts, as the source of value creation. We are striving to maximize the productivity of each officer and employee within the Group, and by viewing AI as a form of human capital, we are accelerating its utilization across all areas, thereby advancing human capital management aligned with our management strategies. Moreover, to resolve social issues, we are aiming to achieve regional transformation by promoting initiatives related to digitalization, decarbonization, work styles, and business succession, centered on "Region-wide DX, GX, and WX". Through these initiatives, we will further contribute to improving regional productivity and revitalizing the regional economy, while enhancing the corporate value of our Bank Group and paving the way for a future where the hopes of all stakeholders can be realized. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and patronage.
